My journey with Film Hub: Seeking Justice and Your Support

Hello everyone, my name is Svetlana Chernienko, and I want to share my personal story with you – a story of trust, betrayal, and the pursuit of justice. It's a tale that involves a renowned Hollywood composer and the founder of Film Hub, Klaus Badelt, but it's not a glamorous Hollywood script; it's my life.

You see, I am the founder of For Us Tv, and on October 11, 2023, I made a payment of $10,000 USD to Film Hub for film licensing services. Little did I know that this decision would turn my world upside down.

After that payment, I began to grow suspicious of the transaction, feeling like something was amiss. It wasn't long before I realized that I had fallen victim to alleged fraudulent activity orchestrated by Film Hub and their licensing department. I was devastated, as I had trusted them with my hard-earned money.

But the worst part was yet to come. When I tried to seek a refund for the services I had paid for but never received, I was met with resistance, bullying, and intimidation tactics from individuals working at Film Hub, including Derek Logan and Luis Carhuayo. They left me feeling helpless and cornered.

As the launch of For Us Tv loomed, I felt immense pressure to resolve this situation. I had sent an international bank wire transfer from my personal account to Film Hub, and I was desperate to get the promised services. However, their response shattered my hopes: "After careful consideration, we have determined we cannot move forward with licensing titles to 'For Us TV'."

The ordeal didn't end there. Instead of a refund agreement, they tried to force me into signing a settlement document. I sent countless emails to Film Hub's licensing department, the initial sales representative, and even to Klaus Badelt and CEO Alan d'Escragnolle. However, my emails went unanswered, and my pleas for resolution fell on deaf ears.

The entire situation took a toll on my business launch and caused significant personal hardship. I couldn't let this injustice prevail, so I decided to take action. I contacted the FBI, providing substantial evidence of international bank wire fraud to initiate a case. I also filed complaints with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the United States Department of Justice in California, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).

Before resorting to these actions, I gave Film Hub and its representatives every opportunity to do the right thing and return the wire transfer. They chose not to respond, which left me with no other option but to seek help from the authorities.

Even Film Hub's legal counsel, who had been discreetly added to our email exchanges, remained unresponsive. It became clear that something was amiss, something far from normal.

In my quest for resolution, I sought assistance from the bank that received the wire transfer , the Bank initially supported my cause, recommending a wire recall process. However all of a sudden their behaviour displayed a dismissive attitude towards my case, and my bank received no response from them to help initiate a recall of the wire transfer.

To make matters worse, I stumbled upon blog posts from other victims who had also fallen prey to this alleged fraudulent scheme, losing the same $10,000. Realizing the urgency of collective action, I tried to engage with Film Hub's founders, Klaus Badelt and CEO Alan d'Escragnolle, in a diplomatic manner, but my attempts were unsuccessful.

As a woman of color striving to make her mark in a male-dominated industry, I have encountered numerous challenges and hurdles along my journey. But none have been as daunting as the battle I now face against Film Hub, a company that has not only defrauded me but also attempted to silence and intimidate me into submission.

It's disheartening to realize that the person I am up against is none other than a well-known Hollywood composer. However, I want to make it abundantly clear that I refuse to be silenced or intimidated. I embarked on this path for For Us Tv with a vision, a promise, and a determination to succeed for the BIPOC and BIPOC LGBTQIA+ community. All I ask for is what was promised to me – my hard-earned money returned. I will not waver in my pursuit of justice, and I hope that my story inspires others facing similar challenges to stand tall and refuse to be deterred by those who seek to hinder our progress.

As my case unfolds, I remain committed to seeking justice and holding Film Hub accountable for their actions. I urge anyone who has experienced similar incidents with Film Hub to come forward and join me in my pursuit of justice.
